Delaware igaming revenue climbs to $387,865 in January
The Delaware Lottery was announced that online gambling revenue in the state was up 38.8% year-on-year in January, while player spending also increased by $2.8m (£2.1m/€2.6m).
Revenue from Delaware’s three licensed operators amounted to $387,865 last month, compared to $279,541 last year. The January revenue total was also 26.6% higher than the £306,478 generated in the final month of 2019.
Video lottery games were the main source of revenue, accounting for $249,548 of the total figure, while table games were responsible for $107,037 during the month. Poker rake and fees generated $31,280 in revenue for operators.
Players wagered a total of $10.2m on online gambling in January of this year, up 37.3% from $7.4m in the corresponding month last year. Consumers won $9.9m during the month, compared to $7.2m in January 2019.
