Hard Rock Digital has launched in the Netherlands in partnership with Maastricht-based operator iCasino BV.

The Hard Rock brand launched through a licensing agreement with iCasino BV. The operator, led by former Novomatic Netherlands CEO, Paul Strikers, secured its operating licence from de Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) in May this year.

While it initially launched under the iCasino.nl brand, this will be rebranded as HardRockCasino.nl.

Bragg has provided its player account management (PAM) solution to power the offering, as well as its remote games server featuring more than 10,000 casino games. It’s the sixth PAM client for Bragg in the market.

“When entering a highly competitive market like the Netherlands, with its strong emphasis on operator compliance, we wanted to have the best foundation and Bragg’s suite of content and technology solutions provides that,” iCasino CEO Paul Strikers said.

“Dutch players will benefit from access to the latest titles and the best offers, bringing the best in Hard Rock Casino style to our igaming offering.”

Bragg CEO Matevž Mazij added: “We’re excited to be able to support HardRockCasino.nl as it launches in the Dutch market. Hard Rock Digital is an internationally recognisable brand with a fantastic global presence.”

Hard Rock has previously expressed interest in expanding its brand into international markets outside of the US. In March, the operator partnered with Playtech, but this appears to be its first non-US licensing deal.

Hard Rock follows LeoVegas’ recent entry into the Netherlands via its BetMGM brand, which announced the roll-out in April.
