The supplier has signed a contract with Sisal Şans, a joint venture between Italy’s Sisal and Şans Digital, a subsidiary of local conglomerate Dermirören Holding. The partners secured a ten-year contract to operate the country’s national lottery Milli Piyango on behalf of the Turkish Wealth Fund Management in August last year.
The games will now be rolled out on Misili, a sports betting brand licensed to offer sports betting in the market by Spor Toto Teşkilat Başkanlığı, using V-Play Plug & Play, an end-to-end online and mobile virtual sportsbook solution. This has already been deployed for partners such as DraftKings and social operator Chumba Casino’s FendOff Sports.
“We have worked with Sisal for many years in Italy, supplying our video lottery terminals, virtuals and mobile products,” Inspired president and chief operating officer Brooks Pierce said. “We are thrilled to partner with their Turkish joint venture, Sisal Sans, to offer our virtuals products in Turkey.
“Our virtuals have proven popular in the UK, Italy and Greece and we see Turkey as an opportunity to showcase our new Plug & Play solution and the strength of our overall Virtuals offerings.”
Selim Ergun, chief executive of Sisal Şans, said the joint venture would look to maximise revenue for the lottery by innovating in terms of product.
“Inspired’s virtual sports speak to that innovation, offering fast-paced action, ultra- realistic player simulations and a tremendous breadth of bet types, and we are excited to be the first certified website to offer virtuals in Turkey,” Ergun said.
“We are looking forward to working with the Inspired team to bring a continual stream of betting content to our customer base, especially given the limited live sports now available.”
The deal follows Misili’s agreement with IMG Arena, the sports data arm of media giant IMG, which was announced earlier today (13 October). That saw Misili agree to integrate streaming across a number of sports, allowing customers to watch live action after placing bets.
