Remote Frontend Developer (React/Next.js)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with a robust understanding of web development, particularly in building real-time applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating dynamic and responsive user interfaces, with a focus on gaming controls that integrate seamlessly with websockets and other APIs. This role requires a blend of strong technical skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to work with various web technologies. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in developing native applications for iPhone and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement interactive and responsive user interfaces for a real-time game.
• Integrate frontend components with websockets to ensure smooth and real-time data communication.
• Design and build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Collaborate with backend developers to define and implement APIs and ensure seamless integration.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Work closely with the design team to create a cohesive design system that enhances user experience.
• Develop and maintain native applications for iPhone and Android platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience across web and mobile.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
 

• Frontend Development Expertise: Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Frameworks and Libraries: Proficiency in React.js and Next.js is highly desirable.
• Real-Time Data Integration: Strong understanding of websockets and real-time data handling.
• Design Systems: Experience in building and maintaining design systems.
• UI/UX Design: Ability to translate design wireframes into high-quality code.
• Broad Technical Skills: Familiarity with a variety of web technologies and tools (e.g., TypeScript, GraphQL, REST APIs).
• Performance Optimization: Knowledge of best practices for front-end performance optimization.
• Mobile Development: Experience in developing native iPhone and Android applications using Swift, Objective-C, Java, and/or Kotlin.

• Knowledge of server-side rendering and static site generation with Next.js.
