Spanish Paralympic Committee renews with lottery partner

The Spanish Paralympic Committee has extended its sponsorship deal with domestic public lottery provider Loterias y Apuestas del Estado.

Under the deal, which comes ahead of this summer’s Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Spanish Paralympic athletes will continue to benefit from grants from the lottery.

The lottery will also continue to support Paralympic athletes at major events and help provide access to high-quality training material.

Loterias joined the Plan Apoyo al Deporte Objetivo Paralímpico – Plan to Support Paralympic Objective plan as one of its sponsors in 2014.

Miguel Sagarra, secretary general of the Spanish Paralympic Committee, said: “I want to thank Loterias for its support; we are hoping to obtain good results at Rio 2016.”
