12BET signs up to partner Badminton World Championships
12BET has moved to enhance its sports sponsorship portfolio by agreeing a deal to become an official partner of the Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) 2017 World Championships.
Under the agreement, which was brokered by the Infront Sports & Media agency, the betting and gaming company will have product category exclusivity and also benefit from branding within the arena’s field of play.
12BET has commercial deals in place with a number of major sports events, such as the World Cup of Pool.
The firm also sponsored the 2015 edition of the All England Open Badminton.
“We are delighted to add the BWF World Championships to our growing sports sponsorship portfolio; it is a huge event that will be broadcast in several of our key target markets,” 12BET spokesman Rory Anderson said.
Thomas Lund, secretary general of the BWF, added: “This tournament is the highlight of the 2017 season, bringing together badminton’s most accomplished players.
“It will be watched keenly by millions globally and will offer significant worldwide exposure for the 12BET brand.”
