32Red has become the new title sponsor of the King George VI Winter Festival UK horse racing event at Kempton Park.

The agreement will run for three years, from 2016 until 2018, and also includes sponsorship of Lanzarote World Hurdle Day fixtures and Tolworth Hurdle Day.

32Red, a founding Authorised Betting Partner of British Racing, is already the sponsor of 45 fixtures at Kempton this year, with this affiliation to be expanded by the Festival being renamed as the 32Red King George VI Winter Festival.

Ed Ware, chief executive of 32Red, said the agreement represents a seven-figure commercial deal for the online betting operator.

“We are long established in horse racing sponsorship and are already the largest supporter of British Racing in numerical terms, but this seven-figure sponsorship package adds more quality and profile to our portfolio,” Ware said.

“Only a cursory glance at the roll call of previous winners of the King George VI Chase makes you appreciate the truly historic status of the race, and to have 32Red's name attached to it is very exciting.”
