Norsk Tipping pens exclusive streaming deal with Stats Perform
Norwegian lottery operator Norsk Tipping has announced Stats Perform’s Watch & Bet service as its sole live streaming video supplier, following a competitive tender process.
Under the agreement, Stats Perform will use its Watch & Bet service to provide live streams of thousands of sports events and matches to Norsk Tipping customers.
Content covered by the deal includes more than 80 football competitions, such as the Spanish La Liga and French Ligue 1 domestic leagues, as well as tennis, ice hockey, basketball, cricket, darts, handball and esports.
“Streaming provides live entertainment, gives bettors more insight into what they’re betting upon and makes Norsk Tipping an even more relevant site to spend time on,” Norsk Tipping’s head of gaming operations, Hans Erland Ringsvold, said.
“Stats Perform came through as the preferred streaming service provider after a competitive tender process with a strong portfolio of live vision rights, good 24/7 coverage and events with high attractivity for the Norwegian market.”
Stats Perform’s chief betting officer Andrew Ashenden added: “Live streaming creates the ultimate rounded, entertaining betting experience by putting high quality live real sport straight into the sportsbook.
“We’re proud to have been trusted to partner with another lottery and are looking forward to seeing the positive feedback from Norsk Tipping’s customers.”
The partnership comes after Stats Perform announced a number of other new deals this month, expanding its data rights portfolio.
Stats Perform agreed a partnership with Cricket South Africa (CSA), the sport’s governing body in the country, to serve as its exclusive official data partner, covering home international fixtures across all formats and CSA’s domestic competitions.
The sports data and artificial intelligence technology specialist also secured the long-term official betting data rights for the United Soccer League USL competitions. The deal covers the USL’s two professional leagues, the USL Championship and USL League One.
