OR’s Score Board breaks revenue and handle records in October

The Oregon Lottery’s Score Board sports betting app set a new monthly handle record in October, with revenue jumping 86.7% month-over-month.

Gross gaming revenue for the month amounted to $2.8m, breaking the previous record of $1.5m, set in September.

Players spent $29.5m on sports betting in October through the lottery’s SBTech-powered Score Board sportsbook, again surpassing the previous record of $26.2m, by 12.6%.

Some 24,562 unique players placed 903,187 sports bets in October, while 3,464 new registrations were also recorded during the month.

Football proved to be the sport of choice for consumers in October, with players betting a total of $12.2m, resulting in $1.5m in revenue for the lottery.

Players wagered $4.9m on baseball bets, generating $346,027 in revenue, while basketball bets amounted to $4.4m, leading to $333,021 in revenue.
