The two-year deal will cover the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, with Parimatch to serve as the football club’s official betting partner both in Europe and also the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region.
The agreement, which also includes marketing rights to promote the Parimatch brand in the UK, will see the operator benefit from a branding presence on LED advertising boards inside the team’s Goodison Park home stadium.
Parimatch will also be visible across the club’s online platforms, including the official Everton website and social media channels.
“This regionally-focused deal is an important addition to our partnerships roster; Parimatch’s exclusive rights in CIS and Europe, as well as their rights to promote their brand in the UK, fits perfectly with our commercial strategy as we diversify opportunities in many of our sector categories,” Everton’s commercial director Alan McTavish said.
Parimatch chief executive Sergey Portnov added: “Parimatch has a strong culture of entrepreneurship and exploring new trends and markets, so partnering with Everton as the brand enters the UK marketplace is massive for us.
“We’re committed to an exciting relationship that will bring increased awareness of our brand and allow us to offer a unique approach to our sportsbook and gaming offer to Evertonians all over the world.”
The new deal comes after Parimatch this month also agreed a new commercial partnership with Premier League club Leicester City, with the operator serving as the club’s official training wear and betting partner.
Parimatch last week also entered a partnership with Italian Serie A champion Juventus.
