Holland Casino signs diversity charter
SER Diversity in Business aims to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace. It aids businesses in establishing and monitoring diversity plans and initiatives.
In signing the charter, Holland Casino says it will work to have an action plan established within six months, with a concrete policy in place.
One main goal is to have a minimum of 50% of women in management development courses. Within the next three years, Holland Casino says it wishes to have 5% more women in duty manager and operations manager positions.
In addition to this, Holland Casino will carry out an integrity survey every two years.
Encouraging diversity
Maud Provily-Sliepen, director of human resources at Holland Casino, said the Diversity Charter measured up to Holland Casino’s core values.
“Signing the Diversity Charter goes hand in hand with the core values of Holland Casino,” she said. “We believe it is important to be a social, safe and inclusive workplace with equal opportunities for everyone.”
The news comes after Holland Casino reported a rise in visitor numbers in its H1 2023 results. A total of 2.5 million people visited Holland Casino locations in the Netherlands during the first six months of the year, up from 1.8 million year-on-year.
