Swintt appoints Mann to replace Flynn as chief executive
Mann replaces David Flynn, who will now take a seat on the Swintt board and focus on his role as CEO of the provider’s parent company Glitnor Group.
As CEO, Mann will be tasked with expanding the business, driving profitability and managing the provider’s overall operations moving forward.
Mann had served as Swintt’s COO since December 2020, having joined the business in May 2019 as business development director.
Prior to this, he was sales and business development director at Wadan, while he also spent three years with Spigo, first as international customers and content manager, and later head of sales.
Earlier in his career, Mann had a spell as bet settlement executive with Betway and also had six years with William Hill as a deputy manager.
“While I’m incredibly proud of everything Swintt has achieved during my time as CEO, David’s promotion means I couldn’t be leaving the running of the company in safer hands,” Flynn said.
“Over the past couple of years, David has proven he has the experience and expertise to flourish in the role while driving further growth for Swintt, and by handing over the reins, I’ll be able to fully focus my efforts on helping Glitnor Group become one of the most entrepreneurial and fastest growing business groups in the igaming industry.”
Mann added: “Over the past couple of years, we’ve witnessed incredible growth in a number of key markets and I’m very much looking forward to being able to continue contributing to this outstanding progress in my role as CEO.
“We have an exciting path ahead of us as we continue to expand our product portfolio, revamp our tech and launch into new markets around the globe, including the UK in the very near future.”
The appointment comes after Swintt earlier this month also named Etienne Azzopardi as its new operations director. Azzopardi has more than 22 years of experience of working in IT professional services, digital product development and commercial delivery, and joined the provider after a spell as commercial operations director at Quickspin.
