Safer Online Gambling Group secures ISO 9001 accreditation

| By Robert Fletcher
The Safer Online Gambling Group (SOGG) has secured the ISO 9001 accreditation standard, certifying it as an organisation committed to continual improvement and delivering high quality services and products to clients.

Founded in 2019 by father and son team David and Adam Bradford, SOGG works across a number of sectors to provide solutions to support addicts and their families, as well as to prevent gambling-related harm.

The group also works with GVC Holdings as part of the operator’s ‘Changing for the Bettor’ campaign.

This partnership has included designing digital therapy tools to stem gambling problems and provide support to those suffering with related harm.

SOGG chief executive and co-founder Adam Bradford said the group hopes to also more work closely with the Great Britain Gambling Commission on its national strategy to better address safer gambling moving forward.

“There is a lot of change afoot in gambling regulation and in the sector from every perspective, but our drive and focus is around advancing much needed digital solutions which bring together stakeholders and make for a safer gambling experience for all,” SOGG chief executive and co-founder Adam Bradford said.

Ryan Bradford, project manager at SOGG, added: “The ISO mark symbolises robustness within our processes and management and will be a great enabler for the organisation as we continue to work, support and prioritise those affected by gambling.”
