Playtech BGT Sports confirms management team

Playtech BGT Sports (PBS) has finalised its senior management team, following the acquisition of BGT by Playtech in July 2016.

Armin Sageder, founder of BGT, will head up the company as chief executive, while John Pettit will act as the managing director for the UK, Ireland, Asia and Australia.

In addition, Dietmar Wiesinger will serve in a similar managing director role for the rest of the world.

“Combining our expertise in retail betting operations with the extensive knowhow at Playtech provides the ultimate platform to create innovative, premium products for our clients and their customers,” Sageder said.

“John and Dietmar offer a wealth of experience in the industry and we are tapping into this as we continue to invest in our products and remain at the forefront of digitising retail betting.”
