Sky Betting & Gaming launches in Italy and Germany

Sky Betting & Gaming has launched sports betting products in Germany and Italy, marking the first time that the services will be offered to customers outside of the UK.

Punters in Italy can now visit SkyBet.it to place bets on sports such as football, basketball and tennis, while the company has also developed and launched a mobile application in the country.

Sky Betting & Gaming will support this new service with the launch of an online casino in Italy, a move that is expected to happen in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, Sky Betting & Gaming has rolled out its free-to-play ‘Super 6’ product in Germany.

Players can win a jackpot of €100,000 ($111,170) if they correctly predict the scores of six select matches in the country’s Bundesliga top-tier club football competition.

Sky Betting & Gaming is yet to announce plans to launch a real-money sportsbook in the country.
