Betsson execs to join Global Gaming team
Global Gaming has brought in a trio of new senior executives, including two recruits from Betsson, to accelerate its expansion plans.
Vladimir Camilleri and Christine Cassar join the gaming services provider from Betsson, with former Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) executive Ryan Sultana joining as head of projects.
The hires come just weeks after Stefan Olsson left his role as chief executive, with Joacim Möller taking on the role on an interim basis.
Camilleri, previously big data manager at Betsson, becomes head of data, and will be responsible for fast real time data, machine learning and advanced analytics.
Casser joins as senior product owner and will focus on the company’s innovation path as it deals with increasing competition in the Nordics, in particular ahead of Swedish regulatory changes.
Sultana, the former head of project management office at GIG, will be responsible for overseeing Global Gaming’s growing project portfolio.
Global Gaming chief operating officer Mark Wadsworth said: “We’re growing, there can be no doubt about it.
“We’re very aware that, in order to build the competitive product offering we have in the pipeline, it is imperative that we carefully select only the very best candidates.”
