iGB L!VE targets 35,000 visitors by 2028

Clarion Gaming, organiser of iGB L!VE, has set out a five-year strategy to increase visitor numbers at the annual event to more than 35,000 by 2028.

The development and growth strategy, Clarion Gaming says, will be driven by the iGB L!VE brand’s relocation to London. This will take place in July 2025, as set out earlier this year.

At the same time, Clarion Gaming’s ICE and iGB Affiliate conferences will be relocated to Barcelona in Spain. Barcelona saw off bids from Madrid, Paris and current host London to secure the rights.

Alongside higher visitor numbers, the organiser is also keen to expand the event with more exhibitors. Clarion Gaming hopes to welcome more than 550 exhibitors and sponsors to the event by its 2028 edition.

iGB L!VE will remain in Amsterdam for 2024. This will take place from 16-19 July, again at the RAI Amsterdam.

“iGB L!VE has already experienced three years of unbelievable exponential growth,” Clarion gaming portfolio director Naomi Barton said. “This exciting move puts us on an even more impressive trajectory.

“We will continue to invest in the show on behalf of the many thousands of international stakeholders who have all been part of the show’s unparalleled success.

“The relocation to London opens new opportunities for both the igaming industry and iGB L!VE, delivering more international connections and partnerships. Our vision over the next five years is to take the show to a whole new level as the industry continues to scale.”

Building towards an expanded iGB L!VE

To support the expansion effort, Clarion Gaming is working with an industry steering group. This includes a range of stakeholders from across the market.

“Central to iGB L!VE’s growth strategy is a relentless focus on putting our customers at the heart of what we do,” Barton said.

“This, combined with an in-depth knowledge of core and emerging igaming markets, strong industry growth and the dynamic UK tech sector, will enable us to exponentially increase both attendee and exhibitor and sponsor numbers in coming years.”
