BetTracker launched by Playtech BGT Sports
Playtech BGT Sports (PBS), a provider of self-service betting terminals, has announced the launch of its new BetTracker product.
The phone application will allow customers to transfer their sports bets to mobiles after placing them in-shop.
The customers are then able to watch their bets progress and will be able to cash them out on the system, which sits on the same platform as the BGT terminals found throughout the UK and Ireland.
“We’re pleased to introduce BetTracker, a revolutionary product which will provide a real boost to the retail sector, improve the user experience, and increase operator revenues,” Playtech BGT Sports’ UK, Ireland and Australia managing director, John Pettit, said.
“We appreciate that some shop customers prefer anonymity and don’t want online accounts. Others like the sociability their local bookie offers. This solution caters for both, bringing the technology that is now routine online into retail estates for the first time.
“PBS continues to drive innovation in the retail space, and we look forward to seeing BetTracker transform the betting experience for customers in all shops up and down the country.”
BetTracker is available on Apple and Android devices.
Last July Playtech paid €138 million ($152.6 million) to acquire Best Gaming Technology (BGT), the sports-betting software and solutions supplier.
