31 March: Where’s the action?
iGB, in partnership with sports data specialist Abelson Info, is providing an updated list of the sporting events taking place each weekday throughout the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
This will ensure our readers have a regularly updated roster of the sporting events happening that day.
Basketball
Again, the only event taking place is China’s semi-professional Super Basketball League.
Football
No leagues matches will be played today (31 March), so friendlies between clubs will be the only football taking place.
Golf
Today’s golf, once again, takes place in the US, at Arizona’s Sun City Country Club and as part of the Outlaw Tour in Verrado.
Greyhounds
As usual, the greyhound racing of the day happens after Abelson’s 10:59PM cut-off, so only the countries in which it occurs are listed.
Horse Racing
Australia dominates today’s racing schedule, though there will be events at Oklahoma’s Will Rogers Downs and Nebraska’s Fonner Park in the US.
Ice Hockey
With almost all sports still taking place in Belarus, it is the only place to bet on ice hockey today.
Table Tennis
We’re back in Eastern Europe with today’s table tennis action, specifically Russia and the Czech Republic.
Volleyball
We end the day on volleyball, again with action in Belarus and Russia.
