The week’s esports fixtures: 4 to 10 June
iGB, in partnership with Bayes Esports Solutions, is proud to present a regular list of fixtures for some of the most popular esports competitions, helping operators looking to expand into the esports market while the traditional sports calendar has been significantly reduced.
This week, the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) event, the Winners League Season 4, Europe Starter Division, tops the fixture list with 21 matches taking place. It began on 18 May and runs until until 6 July. The $15,000 prize pool is shared between the top four placed teams, with the winners securing a $7,000 prize.
Next comes another CS:GO competition, Denmark’s Elgiganten Ligaen Season 14 Group Stage, which runs until 8 June. This sees 11 teams compete in a league format, with AGF Esport, the organisation founded by football club Aarhus Gymnastikforening, topping the table on 39 points.
For Dota 2, ESL One Birmingham’s regional leagues continue, with 14 fixtures to be played over the coming week. These run until 7 June. The ESL Meisterschaft 2020’s group stages also continue, with six teams competing in two mini-leagues, across 13 features. That will then move to the playoff stage, concluding on 22 August.
For League of Legends, the LPL 2020 Summer event, focused on China, begins with 12 fixtures. That event starts on 5 June, running to 9 August.
