Mondogoal expands portfolio with Real Madrid partnership
Global daily fantasy football platform Mondogoal has entered into a partnership with Spanish LaLiga football club Real Madrid.
Under the deal, Mondogoal will use official club images and assets to create and promote a team-branded experience for Real Madrid fans worldwide.
Since its launch in 2014, Mondogoal has awarded more than £1 million (€1.3 million/$1.4 million) in cash prizes to players around the world.
The platform also has partnerships in place with English Premier League teams Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as Real Madrid’s fierce rival Barcelona.
“Passionate Real Madrid fans will now be able to compete amongst each other for cash and prizes,” Mondogoal founder and chief executive, Shergul Arshad, said.
“We’re looking forward to seeing the power of the Real Madrid global brand at work for Mondogoal.”
Rafael De Los Santos, head of digital at Real Madrid, added: “Mondogoal represents a unique platform for Real Madrid fans around the world to compete and show off their skills as managers.
“Our fan base can now select players from different competitions and compete for prizes on a daily basis.”
