Yggdrasil adds ‘Alchymedes’ to slots portfolio

Yggdrasil Gaming has expanded its selection of slot games with the launch of ‘Alchymedes’.

Although the title does not feature free spins, it does offer a mixture of spreading wild patterns and multipliers, which are unlocked as players complete levels by scoring line wins on all symbol positions.

The game offers over 15,000 spreading wild patterns, while each level starts with a 1x multiplier that can increase as high as 100x.

In addition, the game includes a bonus feature that can be triggered at the start of each level and awards one of six rewards, such as additional wilds on the pattern, coin wins and more frequent multipliers.

Jonas Strandman, head of gaming at Yggdrasil, said: “Alchymedes is set in a time when science was seen as magic; giving players control over multipliers and wilds means they can find the right formula for their bonuses to unlock big wins.

“By basing the game on a level format we have built suspense and excitement into Alchymedes, giving players an incentive to keep spinning the reels to progress through the game and boost their chance of winning big.”
