Fenway launches SnapPlay in China
Fenway Games has launched in China through sports social media platform HQ Sports.
Founded by a group including former Manchester City football star Sun Jihai in 2016, HQ Sports – Beijing Haiqiu Technology Company – runs app MiaoHi. It is backed by China Media Capital (CMC) and other investors including Tencent and Yuan Xun Fund.
Fenway’s SnapPlay will be incorporated into HQ’s Jihai app, which is a match analytic, datatainment and info site for sports fans and lottery gamers. SnapPlay games are based around users predicting what happens in the next 60 seconds of the live English Premier League football match they are watching.

“We are looking forward to launching SnapPlay into China followed by SnapBet into the UK. We are delighted to be forming such a close strategic partnership with such an innovative company as HQ Sports into such a large market as China which has so much potential”.
Fenway said it will be looking to launch SnapBet in the coming months with a European sports betting operator in parallel. Fenway will also expand the offering to include basketball, cricket and eSports in future.
