12BET signs as title sponsor of World Cup of Pool
12BET has agreed a deal to serve as the title sponsor of this year’s World Cup of Pool.
The tournament, which is scheduled to take place from June 13-18 at York Hall in London, England, will now be known as the 12BET World Cup of Pool.
The competition will feature 32 two-man teams from nations around the world, with Chinese Taipei looking to become the first team to successfully defend its title.
Barry Hearn, chairman of Matchroom Sport, organiser of the event, said: “We have enjoyed a successful relationship with 12BET through World Snooker and are pleased to be able to build on that partnership with the 12BET World Cup of Pool.”
Rory Anderson, spokesman for 12BET Europe, added: “We are pleased to be sponsoring the 12BET World Cup of Pool, giving us a perfect opportunity to connect with cue sports fans around the globe.
“The 12BET World Cup of Pool is one of the sport’s biggest events and with Matchroom’s live TV coverage it is now reaching over 100 countries – we are delighted to be involved with the tournament.”
12BET also has a commercial partnership in place with English Premier League football club Arsenal.
