Ajax nets partnership with KB88

Dutch Eredivisie football club Ajax has entered into a partnership with betting operator KB88.

The two-year deal will cover the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.

KB88 will serve as the exclusive official Asian betting partner of the team.

“Ajax is a huge club with a great history, well known for their Youth Academy and own developed players, and will make geo-targeted promotion for us exclusively in the Pan-Asian region,” KB88 Asia representative Darren Royle said.

Edwin van der Sar, former Ajax and Holland goalkeeper, and now a director of the club, added: “As the club looks for opportunities to engage with our growing Asian fanbase and enhance the Ajax brand globally, this partnership feels like a natural fit after earlier partnership with Asian companies as CST Tires and Huawei.”
