ATG announces Norman as new chairman
Norman succeeds Bo Netz, who has now left the ATG board after five years as chairman and a total of 12 years as a board member.
Formerly minister of financial markets in Sweden, Norman also previously spent time as chief executive of Seventh AP Fund and director of the Riksbank at Sveriges Riksbank.
Norman also currently serves as chairman of the board of Oscar Properties Holding and the Royal Academy of Music, as well as a member of Nasdaq Stockholm.
“ATG continues the work of securing the long-term development of the sport of trotting and galloping by offering games in a responsible manner,” Norman said. “I look forward to working with the others on the board and management with the company’s future development.”
Outgoing chair Netz added: “It has been a great pleasure and an honour to work with ATG during a period of major changes in the Swedish gaming market.
“ATG stands strong today and is the largest and most profitable gambling company on the commercial licence market in Sweden. I wish ATG under Peter Norman’s leadership all the best in the future.”
In related news, ATG also announced the election of two new government board members. Eva Listi of the ministry of finance and Marie Osberg, a board member of Almi and Collector Bank, will replace Agneta Gille and Birgitta Losman on the ATG board.
