GAN extends with Paddy Power Betfair in New Jersey
GAN has agreed a multi-year extension to its partnership with Paddy Power Betfair in the US state of New Jersey.
Under the deal, GAN will continue to provide platform services to Paddy Power Betfair in the state’s regulated online gaming market.
Paddy Power Betfair and GAN have been working together in New Jersey since 2013, when the two companies launched the BetfairCasino.com platform.
“BetfairCasino.com offers a unique iGaming product experience for customers in New Jersey; the extension of this agreement is a reflection of GAN’s flexible technology system,” Betfair US chief executive Kip Levin said.
Dermot Smurfit, chief executive of GAN, added: “We’re privileged to renew and extend our agreement with Paddy Power Betfair in the United States, one of the largest internet sports betting and gaming operators in the world today.
“Our respective teams have performed well over an extended period in order to establish BetfairCasino.com as the leading independent internet casino in New Jersey.”
Meanwhile, GAN has signed Italian internet sports betting and casino gaming operator Goldbet as its ninth partner in the European country.
GAN currently delivers over 500 casino slots, table games and non-traditional games to operators in Italy, which together represent more than 40% of gross gaming revenue in the country’s online casino market.
Goldbet has approximately 3% market share of internet casino gaming in Italy.
Smurfit said: “Italy remains a strategic stronghold for GAN and represents a substantial long-term investment in a market which first regulated Internet skill-based games in 2009, casino table games in 2011 and casino slot games in 2013.
“The Italian regulated internet gaming market appears locked in a structural growth cycle which GAN continues to benefit from by delivering an increasing number of high quality Internet casino games to its clients.”
