Betano scores partnership with Stuttgart

Private sports betting provider Betano has agreed a partnership with German Bundesliga football club VfB Stuttgart.

The three-year deal will run through to 2021, with Betano to serve as a premium partner of the team.

Betano, together with its sister brand Stoiximan, offers sports and live betting in a number of European countries.

The partnership comes after Betano recently launched in the German market.

George Daskalakis, founder and chief executive of Betano, said: “We are very pleased that Betano's entry into the German market will be shaped by our cooperation with VfB Stuttgart.

“With VfB, we have found one of the largest and most traditional football clubs in Germany to be a strong partner, even beyond Germany's borders.”

Earlier this week, Stuttgart’s Bundesliga rival Hertha Berlin renewed a deal with state lottery company Lotto Berlin.

Hertha last month also agreed a new regional deal with betting company Yabo Sports.
