FanDuel and Genius Sports launch NFL BetVision streaming solution
Focused on the National Football League (NFL), FanDuel and Genius say NFL BetVision is designed to improve the live betting experience.
Incorporating BetVision into the FanDuel Sportsbook will allow fans to watch select NFL games inside the app. FanDuel will also be able to add other features such as integrated odds, real-game stats and graphic overlays.
In addition, Genius will continue to provide FanDuel with access to NFL Next Gen Stats (NGS) and the league’s official sports betting data feed. Genius is the exclusive distributor of the NFL’s official league data.
Genius building on early BetVision success
The launch of NFL BetVision comes after Genius unveiled the original BetVision solution in September. BetVision was initially available on the Caesars and Fanatics Sportsbooks, with it now expanded to FanDuel as an NFL offering.
Since BetVision was rolled out, Genius says the solution has helped increase in-game bets, customer engagement and retention.
“In partnership with FanDuel, we are proud to lead a new era of sports betting experiences across North America,” Genius CEO Mark Locke said. “With heightened demand for greater personalisation and interactivity, BetVision revolutionises the live betting experience for FanDuel’s customers by helping to drive fan engagement and accelerate the growth of in-game betting.”
FanDuel chief commercial officer Mike Raffensperger added: “As an official sports betting partner of the NFL, we’re continuing to look for ways to elevate the betting experience on our platform for fans during every game.
“Partnering with Genius will allow us to pair our industry-leading product with access to BetVision to build a seamless live betting experience for fans.”
Continuing NFL focus for Genius
The launch comes after Genius signed an extension to its strategic partnership with the NFL in July. The deal runs to the 2027-28 season, with Genius keeping exclusivity over official NFL data and video distribution.
This includes play-by-play statistics, proprietary NGS data and official sports betting data. Genius will continue to distribute this to media companies and sports betting operators around the world.
The deal also covers exclusive rights to distribute NFL Watch & Bet low latency live game video feeds to sportsbooks internationally.
