Manchester United pens betting deal with Yabo Sports
Yabo Sports has agreed a deal to become the first Asia-facing betting partner of English Premier League football club Manchester United.
The agreement has not yet been formally announced, but iGamingBusines.com understands that the club and the operator have struck a multi-year, global partnership.
Yabo Sports branding was featured on pitchside LED advertising boards during United’s home Premier League clash with Chelsea on August 11.
The deal is due to be officially announced in the coming weeks, with Yabo Sports to replace MoPlay as the club’s global betting partner.
Other operators that have also served in this role for United include the likes of Betfair, bwin and Marathonbet.
Yabo Sports has been increasing up its sponsorship activity in the professional football market in recent years, including signing on as the international presenting sponsor in Asia for Italy’s Serie A.
Other deals include an exclusive betting partnership with German Bundesliga club Hertha BSC in Asia and an agreement with AS Monaco of the French Ligue 1.
