IGT to power Circa’s sports betting app in Colorado

International Game Technology (IGT) has agreed a deal to power Circa Sports’ mobile sports betting application in Colorado.

Under the agreement, IGT will provide its PlaySports platform for the new Circa Sports offering, allowing consumers in the state to place bets on mobile.

In February, Las Vegas-based sports betting brand Circa Sports linked up with casino operator Century Casinos to launch online sports wagering services in Colorado.

The 15-year agreement stated that Circa Sports would roll out its mobile sports betting app in under the master license issued to one of Century’s licensed venues. The app was scheduled to launch on or around May 1, 2020.
