Department of Trust adds adverse media scanning to Complete

Department of Trust (dotrust.co.uk), the award-winning provider of financial risk assessments for safer gambling, has added an advanced Adverse Media scan to its DoTrust Complete solution. 

Adverse Media searches are common in anti-money laundering (AML) and high-risk settings where operators conduct enhanced due diligence on players. Until now, this has often involved compliance teams wasting valuable time and incurring costs accessing specialist tools and manually incorporating results into internal evaluations.  
 
The feature’s addition as a one-click option inside DoTrust Complete dramatically reduces the time and cost of these tasks. Operators get instant and up-to-the-minute results from multiple global sources within the DoTrust back office platform, batch interfaces and real-time secure API. Summaries of relevant information are automatically generated, with results fed directly into the compliance evaluation alongside the other risk assessments available in Complete.  

Further flexibility is on hand for users with multilingual searches available, along with customisable search parameters and other variables to ensure efficient and accurate responses to suit individual requirements. Links to original sources and imagery are also provided, allowing for deeper analysis should this be required. 

The Adverse Media scan avoids creating the additional work of many false positives created by existing technology and the time required to read through returned articles, ensuring a seamless, highly efficient process.
