Five years of Alea: What does biohacking have to do with work?

| By Michelle Druker

At first glance, biohacking – the practice of maximising human performance, health and longevity – doesn’t seem to have much to do with iGaming. Alea disagrees.

The company is well-known and multi-award-winning for being a great place to work. Its commitment to employee wellbeing includes free daily (vegetarian) lunches, Oura rings for all employees to track their health stats, an on-site sauna, hamam, gym, ice bath, and the crown jewel: a hyperbaric chamber

Why has Alea put health and wellbeing so central to its business strategy – and is it all just a marketing gimmick? Alexandre Tomic (founder) and Charlotte Lecomte (founder & CTO) sit down to discuss their approach to building the company and what its culture is like today.
