Six studios. Six identities. One collective. Maxxi Labs puts creative line-up centre stage
Maxxi Labs is putting the creative minds behind its new casino content collective in the spotlight, showcasing six creatively independent studios built to serve different players, markets and styles of play.
Launched on 1 September with a simple formula; six studios, one integration and content designed to cut through rather than blend in, Maxxi Labs was created around difference, not duplication.
There is no single house style. Instead, Bad Company, Fortune One, Gacha, Red Papaya, Slotty and Ventura Studios each bring their own visual language, mechanics, mathematics and specialist edge to the collective, with more independent studios set to join as Maxxi Labs expands.
Together, they will power six to eight bold new releases every month across slots and casual games, serving audiences from crypto-native and streamer-first communities through to more traditional casino players. But while the output is relentless, the studios behind it are deliberately distinct.
Bad Company is defined by precision volatility and elevated wins. The studio specialises in high-volatility slots, combining rigorous mathematics with refined interactive design and strong max-win potential.
Gacha is known for premium branded slots and Cluster Pays innovation, including Link&Merge, pairing distinctive mechanics with engaging maths designed to support long-term player retention.
Red Papaya takes a data-driven approach to slots, blending advanced game engines with proven mechanics including Maxways, Hold & Win, Triple Pot and Bonus Tower across a broad range of themes and international markets.
Slotty reworks proven maths and mechanics and gives them a fresh identity through new art, animation and audio, with the flexibility to tailor games for different global markets and player needs.
Fortune One focuses on bold creativity and presentation, pairing striking visuals and vibrant art direction with innovative mechanics to create polished, memorable slot experiences.
Ventura Studios is designed for broad market reach, fusing proven, paytable-free mechanics with a distinctive kitsune-led visual identity and a deliberately universal approach.
The six-studio model will be on full display at SBC Summit Lisbon, where Maxxi Labs will showcase Mad Ducks, its high-volatility crypto-native launch slot; AviaX, a fast-paced crash title; and casual games Cluck Hunt and Clucking Rush. Together, the four titles will give operators a first-hand look at the range of formats and creative directions emerging from across the collective.
A Maxxi Labs spokesperson said: “What makes this collective exciting is the contrast. Put these six studios next to each other and you immediately see that they are not trying to make the same game six different ways.
“Each team has its own creative instincts, its own strengths and a clear idea of the audiences it wants to reach. Our job is to protect that independence and give it the infrastructure and reach to go further. For operators, that means one integration can open the door to six very different creative perspectives, with more on the way.
“SBC Summit is the perfect place to show what that looks like in practice. We want people to come away having seen games that feel unmistakably different from one another, because that is what Maxxi Labs was created to deliver.” Maxxi Labs will be exhibiting at A401 during SBC Summit Lisbon.
