Zero-revenue-share sportsbook BetSymphony goes live in Africa
BetSymphony is now live in Togo with Premier Bet, one of Africa’s leading operators, active in more than 20 African countries, delivered on a zero-revenue-share model.
The launch brings BetSymphony’s zero-revenue-share model to Africa, giving operators an alternative to the traditional commercial structure where platform providers take an ongoing percentage of revenue.
Instead, BetSymphony is built around source-code licensing, operator-controlled development and 0% revenue share as the operator scales.
Rethinking the sportsbook platform model
Revenue share has long been standard in sportsbooks, giving operators infrastructure in exchange for a percentage of revenue.
BetSymphony takes a different approach, giving operators control over their technology roadmap, customisation and platform economics.
“For decades, operators have accepted revenue share as the price of getting to market. Our view is that platform costs shouldn’t keep increasing simply because the operator’s revenue does,” said Valentina Synenka, CEO of BetSymphony.
The company is also taking a measured approach to African expansion.
“We’d rather earn each market than rush them,” Synenka added.
Built for mobile-first African markets
Africa presents a particularly strong use case for BetSymphony’s mobile-first architecture.
The platform has been designed for environments where bandwidth, device performance and connectivity can vary significantly, while maintaining a smooth sportsbook and casino experience across devices.
Its architecture gives operators control over the frontend, integrations and future product development, allowing the platform to be adapted around individual market and business requirements.
BetSymphony works alongside BetHarmony, Symphony Solutions’ conversational AI frontend, that lets players bet by voice and chat instead of fighting through menus. This next-generation Conversational AI interface, delivers a player experience so intuitive, it feels like the sportsbook is talking directly to you.
For operators looking for a faster route to launch, Symphony Solutions is also developing a turnkey BetSymphony model.
Technology built for operator control
The Premier Bet launch demonstrates how BetSymphony’s technology and commercial model can work together in an African market.
“BetSymphony went into production with no platform issues. We draw on years of engineering experience working with Tier-1 iGaming companies including Caesars Entertainment, William Hill, Ladbrokes Coral, Betway and OpenBet,” said Mariyan Melnychuk, product delivery director at Symphony Solutions.
The Togo deployment gives BetSymphony a base for expansion across Africa, with its next market launch planned for October.
Industry recognition follows expansion
BetSymphony has been shortlisted for Rising Star in Sports Betting Innovation at the SBC Awards, while the EGR B2B Awards 2026 shortlisted it for Software Rising Star and Sportsbook Platform Supplier.
As operators seek control over technology and margins, BetSymphony is positioning zero revenue share as an alternative way to scale a sportsbook business.
