Midnite partners with BR-DGE to sharpen payments performance and power international expansion
Midnite is known for a fast, friction-free app experience and BR-DGE will bring that same standard to its payments stack, strengthening resilience, optimising performance for pay-ins and payouts, and underpinning a smooth customer experience.
Pairing Midnite’s product-led, mobile-first platform with BR-DGE’s sector expertise gives their payments team a partner that understands the operational and regulatory realities of gaming at every stage of a transaction.
Before working with BR-DGE, Midnite operated via direct integrations with payment providers in the UK and Ireland. That setup served the business well while it was establishing itself, but rapid growth and ambitious expansion plans meant payments needed to keep pace with the speed and simplicity Midnite already delivers everywhere else in its app.
As a trailblazer in the industry, Midnite took the same innovative approach to its payment strategy as it has to every other aspect of its business, matching its scaling journey and its customers’ expectations.
Moving to BR-DGE addressed that directly. Midnite was able to bring TrueLayer’s Pay By Bank payments almost immediately through BR-DGE’s existing connectivity, with further alternative payment methods already in the implementation phase through the platform. As Midnite continues to execute ambitious growth plans, BR-DGE will also enable new payment options, to give Midnite the payment setup it needs to serve new markets from day one.
Midnite’s rapid growth also demands further PSP connectivity, which the operator will add through BR-DGE in due course. This will also allow Midnite to benefit from BR-DGE’s smart routing capabilities, supporting optimisation across costs, acceptance rates and uptime, for deposits and withdrawals.
Centralised tokenisation via BR-DGE Vault will keep stored card details portable across both processors, so the change doesn’t mean re-tokenising players or disrupting the checkout experience they’re used to.
Alongside routing, tokenisation and connectivity, Midnite will benefit from BR-DGE’s gaming-specific performance benchmarking and market insights. This intelligence, drawn from BR-DGE’s gaming merchant base (spanning multiple regulated markets, including the UK, Ireland, North America, Europe and Australia) and modelling capabilities, gives Midnite actionable insight on how payment journeys can be improved, to balance cost, security, acceptance and the customer experience.
Jacob Spencer, chief revenue officer at BR-DGE, said: “Midnite built a strong platform on a single PSP, which worked well domestically but limited how quickly they could add new payment methods or move into new markets. Moving to an independent orchestration layer mitigates that technical debt in one step, giving Midnite the scalability they need to match their success and ambitions.
“BR-DGE’s track record and data intelligence capabilities will augment and enrich our orchestration capabilities, enabling Midnite to direct every transaction to achieve optimal performance, even as their business evolves and grows.”
Christian Huynh, lead product manager, Midnite said: “At Midnite, we want every part of the experience to feel built different, and payments are no exception. We’re focused on creating payment experiences that delight our customers, while building the flexibility to innovate quickly and bring the same great experience to new markets as we grow.”
The partnership adds Midnite to a growing roster of gaming operators that rely on BR-DGE’s independent orchestration layer and data intelligence, reinforcing BR-DGE’s position as the leading payment optimisation platform for the gaming sector.
