888 has extended its partnership with the Delaware Lottery in the US by a further two years.

Under the deal, 888 will continue to power the Lottery's platform, which provides players in the state with a range of online casino games and poker.

The renewal comes after 888 earlier this month announced the roll-out of its interstate poker network across Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey.

888 is working with the Delaware Lottery, as well as WSOP and the All American Poker Network, on the venture.

“This is yet another testament to the strength of our relationship and the quality of our proprietary technology that the Delaware Lottery has extended our five-year long contract for another two years,” 888 chief executive Itai Frieberger said.

“Delaware is an igaming pioneer and we are delighted to continue our partnership with a like-minded organisation that has innovation at its core.”

Vernon Kirk, director of the Delaware Lottery, added: “The Delaware Lottery is very pleased to be able to continue its long running and successful partnership with 888.

“The Lottery is especially excited as this extension allows Delaware the opportunity to join with New Jersey and Nevada in the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement operating on 888’s platform, a solution that we believe will greatly enhance our online players gaming experience.”
