Starfish Media, a subsidiary of Angler Gaming, is to launch its own bingo service after acquiring a number of bingo-focused assets, consisting of domains and player databases.
The assets were purchased for €100,000 ($110,500), while the two parties also agreed on a revenue share agreement that will run for three years.
The firm said it expects the assets to be fully migrated, deployed and operational by next month, with a positive effect commencing in the third quarter.
Mike Bennett, chief executive of Angler, said: “It is our group’s strategy to be on the lookout for opportunities that are complementary to our operations.
“We believe that the addition of bingo as a new product together with a corresponding brand with an existing and loyal customer base will bring added value to our business.”
