BetVictor has closed down its online poker service in order to focus on its sports betting and casino offering.

The BetVictor Poker operation formally ceased activity on June 7 and players are now being directed to the firm’s other services to reconnect with any remaining balances.

In a public FAQ, BetVictor said affiliate accounts will not be closed down and those that have signed up to the system can still make referrals to the BetVictor sports and casino products.

BetVictor Poker had previously operated as part of the wider Microgaming Poker Network, but recently opted to leave the setup.

In a short statement issued to poker customers, BetVictor added: “We’d like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all our loyal players who’ve chosen to use BetVictor Poker over the years.”
