Caesars appoints Las Vegas Sands’ Ottolenghi to senior role

Caesars Entertainment Corporation (CEC) has named Les Ottolenghi, formerly of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, as an executive vice-president and its new chief information officer.

Caesars Entertainment Corporation (CEC) has named Les Ottolenghi, formerly of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, as an executive vice-president and its new chief information officer.

In his new role, Ottolenghi will assume responsibility for implementing Caesars’ technology agenda across all company platforms and will report directly to president and chief executive Mark Frissora.

Ottolenghi joins Caesars from Las Vegas Sands, where he had also serving as the chief information and innovation officer.

Earlier in his career, Ottolenghi held senior information technology positions with hospitality brands Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Holiday Inn Worldwide, and also founded Plat4m Technologies and Intent Media Works.

“Having the opportunity to shape and implement the IT vision for a strong global brand such as Caesars is an exciting opportunity,” Ottolenghi said.

“I couldn't be more thrilled to lead the IT strategy of this company at such a pivotal moment in its history.”

Speaking about the appointment, Frissora added: “Les is a proven leader in the gaming and hospitality sectors who has a proven ability to create and implement transformative initiatives.

“I am confident that Les' skills will benefit our customers and our company as we ensure our IT capabilities exceed our business needs.”
