Evolution claims market first with online craps

| By Robert Fletcher
Live dealer games provider Evolution has announced the launch of the igaming industry’s first live dealer craps game.

Based on the traditional casino version of the game, the new offering will include a number of additional features that Evolution said are designed to make the game easier to understand.

Features include an ‘Easy Mode’ and an online interactive tutorial that explains how to play the game.

In addition to the live game, Evolution will launch a random number generator (RNG) variant of craps within its first person portfolio of games.

“Craps has been our most requested new game by both players and operators for years – now it’s finally here,” Evolution chief product officer Todd Haushalter said.

“Craps completes the Evolution portfolio in terms of offering every game you can find in a land-based casino.”

The launch comes after Evolution this week also rolled out a range of its games with Caesars Entertainment in the state of Pennsylvania. The Caesars Casino & Sportsbook Pennsylvania now offers players in the state access to Evolution live casino games.

Last month, Evolution also revealed “exceptionally high” activity levels in the third quarter led to strong growth in revenue and earnings for the period. Total operating revenue for the three months to 30 September reached €140.2m, up 47.8% on the previous year.
