France Pari hails Suertia deal as revenue rises

France Pari has cited its acquisition of Spanish operator Suertia as one of the key reasons behind a year-on-year increase in revenue during 2016.

France Pari has cited its acquisition of Spanish operator Suertia as one of the key reasons behind a year-on-year increase in revenue during 2016.

Revenue in the 12-month period came in at €86 million ($92.5 million), around four times as much as the amount posted in the previous year.

Sports betting and horse racing stakes totalled €54 million, while casino stakes amounted to €29 million.

France Pari also noted that B2B revenue generated by the licensees of its betting platform came in at €3 million for the year, while group gross margin improved from €4.9 million in 2015 to €9.3 million last year.

As a result, France Pari has said net profit for 2016 is likely to rise “significantly”, with the firm expecting to deliver a third consecutive profitable year.

In addition, France Pari said revenue for the current year is likely to surpass the €100 million mark.
