Galaxy Gaming makes trio of senior appointments

Galaxy Gaming has appointed John Strickland as its new marketing director and Gabrielle Houston as vice president of finance and controller, while the table games provider has also promoted Ann Huysmans to the role of gaming compliance manager.

Galaxy Gaming has appointed John Strickland as its new marketing director and Gabrielle Houston as vice president of finance and controller, while the table games provider has also promoted Ann Huysmans to the role of gaming compliance manager.

Strickland will assume responsibility for preparing and implementing Galaxy’s annual marketing plan, covering all new product launches, tradeshows and company communications. 

He has spent more than 22 years working in advertising, branding and product marketing, including 14 years in the casino and gaming sector with the likes of Scientific Games Corporation, SHFL Entertainment and the MTR Gaming Group

Houston will bring over 18 years’ of business operations experience to her new role at Galaxy Gaming, having worked for leading gaming industry brands such as Aristocrat Technologies Australia, MGM Resorts International and SHFL Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Huysmans will move into her new position at the provider having served as its compliance manager since 2017. She has worked in the gaming industry for more than 14 years, including spells with Station Casinos and Konami Gaming prior to her time with Galaxy Gaming.

“We are delighted to have recruited Gabi and John, both industry professionals in the areas of marketing and finance and are honoured to have promoted one of our very own, Ann Huysmans,” Galaxy Gaming president and CEO, Todd Cravens, said.

“These talented team members will enhance our ability to support new markets and develop new products. I am really proud of the team that we continue to build here at Galaxy.”

The trio of appointments come after Galaxy Gaming this week also added former Scientific Games CEO, Gavin Isaacs, to its board of directors.
