Gaming Nation has said it is likely to finalise a takeover deal with OC Special Opportunities Fund before the end of November.

In August, Gaming Nation revealed that OC Special Opportunities Fund, a private investment fund managed by Orange Capital Ventures, had entered into a plan of arrangement to acquire 100% of the shares in the company.

OC Special Opportunities Fund has agreed to pay CAD$0.95 (€0.63/US$0.74) in cash per share.

Gaming Nation has now said in a statement that the two companies “continue to make substantial progress” regarding the required regulatory approvals and the deal should go through this month.

The transaction remains subject to the satisfaction or waiver of the remaining conditions of closing.
