In a statement, IGT said the transaction will enhance its own offering and enable it to deliver Zest’s games to its own customers.

Zest’s core offering consists of multi-card video bingo content displayed on a dual-screen cabinet, built on server-based gaming architecture, with special game features including extra balls, venue jackpots, bonuses and community games.

Walter Bugno, chief executive international at IGT, said: “Zest’s multi-card video bingo solution is recognised as one of the best in the international market.

“Bringing IGT’s gaming expertise and customer first approach together with Zest’s proven video bingo solution allows IGT to generate value in existing and new markets.”

Luca Frigerio, president and chief executive of Zest, added: “This marks a new era for Zest; combining Zest’s innovative and entertaining game features with IGT’s global leadership will enhance the value we provide to existing markets and accelerate expansion into new markets.”
