Mobile social poker operator KamaGames has revealed that its global player base now exceeds 100 million players.

The company behind the ‘Pokerist’ brand began the year with 95 million players and has been able to add another five million in the past three months.

KamaGames put this expansion down to continued product innovation, as well as the targeting of a wider and more casual audience with the launch of ‘Pokerist Party’.

The firm also paid tribute to its player retention and engagement strategy and its collaborations with the likes of Facebook, Yoozoo and Poker Night in America.

Andrey Kuznetsov, chief executive of KamaGames, said: “This vast international audience is a clear reflection of the hard work from every member of the KamaGames team.

“From development, to marketing, to user acquisition and everyone in between, I am immensely proud of what we have achieved as a company.

“I’m also grateful to all of our players, who helped make Pokerist one of the most fun and engaging multiplayer experience any gamer can have.”
