Kiron claims virtuals first with winter sports launch

Kiron Interactive has said that it has become the first virtuals sports provider to introduce a winter sports service to its portfolio.

Kiron Interactive has said that it has become the first virtuals sports provider to introduce a winter sports service to its portfolio.

The company has rolled out two titles in the form of ‘Hockey Shots’ and ‘Speed Skating’.

Hockey Shots features a sudden death ice hockey shootout, with games available every few minutes, while Speed Skating will allow players to bet on the outcome of virtual skating races.

Steven Spartinos, chief executive of Kiron, said: “Kiron Interactive is the first to introduce these new winter sports to a virtual sports portfolio and we’re confident that both games will help us tap in to new markets and customer bases.”
