Kiron Interactive has secured a Combined Remote Operating Licence in the UK.

Awarded by national regulatory body the UK Gambling Commission, the licence will now enable Kiron to provide a fixed-odds betting service by remote, online communication for virtual sports and games.

Kiron will also be able to offer its Betman Online RGS system on a fully managed and hosted basis to UK operators.

The company currently features 15 virtual games in its portfolio, including horse racing, football and basketball.

Steven Spartinos, co-chief executive of Kiron, said: “We’re always looking to stay a step ahead and we hope this provides potential customers with another positive reason to choose Kiron as their supplier.

“Having worked closely with the Gambling Commission throughout the application process, the licence represents a big step forward for everybody involved with Kiron Interactive.”
