Online gaming operator Mansion Group has secured a licence to begin offering its sports betting and casino gaming services in the Irish market.

The licence will cover the MansionBet sportsbook, as well as the MansionCasino, Casino.com and Slots Heaven casino brands.

Mansion Group has said it intends to follow up on the launch in Ireland by also rolling out its brands across various other markets in the coming year.

“We recognise the size of the competition (in Ireland), but with over 15 years’ experience in the industry and strong brand recognition, I believe we have the knowledge, paired with an impressive product to succeed,” Mansion Group chief executive Karel Manasco said.

The licence will has been secured weeks after Mansion extended its sponsorship deal with Premier League club AFC Bournemouth.

Mansion has been serving as Bournemouth's official shirt sponsor since the 2017-18 Premier League season, with its Asia-facing M88 brand appearing on shirts, adult replica jerseys and training wear. From the start of the 2019 season, its core Mansion brand will also be featured on the left sleeve of players' shirts.

Ireland, meanwhile, is in the process of overhauling its regulatory framework for gambling, with plans to introduce a new regime, and new regulatory authority, next year.
