MGM Resorts has enhanced its service offering in New Jersey with the launch of real-money online gambling in the US state’s regulated market.

The firm will offer content via its playMGM platform across the playMGMcasino and playMGMpoker website brands.

Working in partnership with GVC Holdings, playMGMcasino will offer players more than 200 online slot and table games, while playMGMpoker will feature daily and weekly tournament guarantees, as well as sit-and-go tournaments and cash games.

In addition, playMGM will offer a welcome package to punters that sign up for a new account and become a verified player.

Corey Sanders, chief operating officer of MGM Resorts International, said: “We are thrilled to be entering the online gaming landscape in New Jersey with the expansion of our playMGM platform to include both casino and poker games.

“The ability to effectively bring Las Vegas to New Jersey via an online experience is an exciting undertaking, especially as we continue to develop our presence on the East Coast with the recent acquisition of Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, the opening of MGM National Harbor and the pending 2018 opening of MGM Springfield in Massachusetts.”
